6:30p.m. “Lost in Translation”
In an Oscar-nominated role, Bill Murray plays an actor in Japan for a commercial shoot who confronts the melancholy of middle age in a film that insiders say helped him prepare for his ground-breaking work the following year in “Garfield: the Movie.” (2003) Showtime.
7:15 p.m. “Freddy vs. Jason”

11p.m. “The Real Story of Thanksgiving” It turns out that canned cranberry sauce was invented as a gag gift. History Channel.
